Content transparency: the following announcement is for an event addressing organized racism and white supremacy.

The rise of organized white nationalism is palpable in our current political climate. For some, this may come as a major shock; the groups and movements that form the extreme right are now mainstreaming themselves, and they now occupy a place in the public eye. Understanding what this means requires a certain amount of social context that is currently missing from the larger national conversation.

Therefore, a group of Berkeley students, alumni, and East Bay residents will come together on Saturday, December 10th, from 11AM-1PM to present their existing personal knowledge about white nationalist groups and their impact on our local community. This will be taking place at Rochdale Village, 2424 Haste St.

This is a collaborative teach-in effort; each presenter is only disclosing what they have come to know, in hopes that a group setting will help to make for better understanding of these issues. If you have a formal presentation you'd like to contribute, or some facilitation experience on this topic, please do not hesitate to e-mail This email address is being protected from spambots. DIY Deodorant Recipe
Courtesy of Sam Bonelli, Sherman
It's good for the environment and can be made with staples in any bsc kitchen!

-1/2 cup of cornstarch
-1/4 cup of baking soda
-1/2 a cup of coconut oil
- essential oils (optional)
- Melt coconut oil on the stove. Once it is melted add cornstarch and baking soda. Whisk immediately until the oil is an even color and consistency. Next you can add a few drops of an essential oil of your choice, I recommend tea tree oil! Then pour contents into a sealable container. BOOM DEODORANT FOR LIKE A YEAR.
