UHS is holding COVID vaccine Clinics at the Tang Center, appointments bookable on eTang. All clinics are Pfizer boosters.

You are booster eligible if it has been 5 months since the final dose of either Moderna or Pfizer, or at least two months after a J&J vaccination. Boosters are required and those who are booster eligible but not yet boosted would need to start weekly surveillance testing. So get your booster or upload records to eTang if you got it already outside of UHS.

Are you interested in caring for the co-op and surrounding community? Have any experience in public health (epidemiology, health policy and management, community health services, etc), organizational emergency preparedness, or crisis management? Are you high-risk, disabled, or part of any community disproportionately impacted by COVID-19?
We are seeking 1-2 dedicated members to serve on the ERT for 5 hours/week of compensated work at the workshift rate ($18/hr). ERT meetings will be online and work can be done virtually. Fill out the Google Form application to become an ERT Member. It will be due Monday, February 14 at 11:59 p.m.

Job Description: The Operations Supervisor is responsible for assisting house-level managers in meeting BSC and City habitability guidelines. They are responsible for training Workshift Managers, providing ongoing support, and facilitating communication with the central-level. In conjunction with the Operations Manager (OM), they work with all house-level managers and central-level staff to ensure that houses have effective workshift programs, maintain reasonable safety and cleanliness standards, and supports houses in effectively responding to inspection reports and habitability issues. The Operations Supervisor will recommend and approve projects, and regularly coordinate and supervise student/professional cleaning, landscaping, and moving crews related to habitability improvement projects, inspection follow-up, and projects needed for capital improvement and seismic work at individual units.

Brenda Cook has degrees in Philosophy (BA) and Community Development (MS), both from the University of Maine. She is a dual Canadian and US citizen, growing up on the US/Canadian border. She spent a year abroad at the University of Copenhagen and then returned to teach ESL in the night school system. Working in higher education, healthcare and nonprofit development for over twenty years, Brenda has a broad array of interests from science and engineering to the arts and humanities. She has worked at Stanford Medicine, Dominican University of CA, CSU Monterey Bay, and Call of the Sea. She has long been an advocate for affordable housing and student leadership development. As a singer, she has sung in choruses on both coasts and now sings in the Marin Harmony Chorus. This past year she wrote and published, The Entrepreneur's Family, Seeking Recovery, Balance and Growth.

COVID-19 Testing Information and Resources
WRITTEN BY EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM (ERT)
The University Health Services offers two types of testing on campus: symptomatic/clinical tests and surveillance/asymptomatic tests. All testing can be ordered online at eTang, where you will be guided to the appropriate testing site.
- Johnson and Johnson Booster Shot:
- It is recommended that you get a booster shot 2 months after your initial dose of the vaccine
- Moderna and Pfizer Booster Shots:
- The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) expanded booster shot eligibility on November 19th 2021. It is now available for everyone 18+ who was fully vaccinated at least 6 months ago.
- You are considered fully vaccinated 14 days after your second vaccine dose.
