COVID-19 Vaccination Opportunities

J&J COVID Vaccine Clinics this week on campus: I wanted to share this information from University Health Services (UHS) for access to J&J COVID Vaccine. University Health Services has scheduled a series of vaccine clinics on May 5, 6, 12 & 13 at Pauley Ballroom for the single-dose J&J vaccine. Here is the message UHS sent to students on May 5th. I want to promote or amplify the vaccine clinics.

Do you need someone to talk to or just a good listener?

WRITTEN BY MADELEINE LOH (Development Director)

Russ Button (BSC Member in the 1970s) is a Chaplain Intern at Kaiser Hospital and was recently ordained by The Chaplaincy Institute of Berkeley as an Interfaith Minister and Chaplain. The work of interfaith chaplain is to be a listener for people of all faith traditions and those of no faith tradition as well. It is not the role of chaplain to preach religion, but we are to be present for those who are facing a spiritual crisis such as the grief one has at the death of someone they love—a family member, lover or close friend. Crisis of spirit can also come from questioning the path in life one is walking. Russ Button is available to be present for and listen to BSC members experiencing grief or crisis. Contact Russ Button if you are experiencing grief or crisis.
