Board of Directors

The Berkeley Student Cooperative (BSC) is a democratic, member-run organization. As a cooperative, our bylaws guarantee that any member may attend any meeting, fully participate, ask questions, speak, make motions, and second motions.

Each house in the Berkeley Student Cooperative elects student representatives who are responsible for making budgetary and governance decisions for the organization.

The Board consists of 29 voting members with each house or apartment having 1-4 representatives. There is also one staff representative and two alumni representatives. Additionally, the Executive Director and other relevant staff members attend Board meetings but do not vote. View names and emails of current President and VPs.

Board meets every 2–3 weeks during the Fall and Spring semesters (September - May) and once a month in June, July, and August. Meetings are always on Thursday evenings starting at 7pm. For schedules, times, and agendas, please see board.bsc.coop
