Staff Changes in the Housing Department
WRITTEN BY DAVE CHELSEA-SEIFERT (Operations Manager)
Please be informed about some important changes in the Housing Department. Giovanni Smith, our Housing Supervisor, for the last three years, will be leaving the BSC on August 15th. Please join me in thanking them for all of their hard work and many contributions to the BSC! I am also pleased to announce that Kyle Eggleston, our Assistant Housing Supervisor, for almost 13 years, has accepted a promotion to be the new Housing Supervisor!
Kyle has stepped into his new role on Monday, June 16th. Giovanni will assist with the Housing Department's transition and may help other departments if needed from Monday, the 16th, through the end of the summer contract period. Housing Coordinator Tasha Lewis will temporarily increase her hours from 20 hours/week to 40 hours/week until a new Assistant Housing Supervisor is hired and onboarded. Additionally, former Housing Supervisor Betsy Putnam, a 40+ year veteran of the BSC, will be working 15-20 hours/week to temporarily handle disability accommodations and manage the transition in partnership with Giovanni and Kyle.
Please join me in congratulating Kyle and Tasha on their new role/additional responsibilities and wishing Giovanni the best of luck in the next chapter of their career!
