I'm reaching out to let you know about this workshop, happening this Saturday - it's open to all members but hasn't filled up, so we're opening it up to staff as well:

SUICIDE INTERVENTION (FOR WEIRDOS, FREAKS, & QUEERS) SATURDAY APRIL 19TH, 2025 12PM-2:30PM VIA ZOOM This workshop focuses on peer and community based strategies for supporting folks in our lives who might be suicidal, as well as examining the beliefs and structures that keep suicide conversations under wraps. Facilitated by Carly Boyce (they/she), MSW. Carly is the author of "helping your friends who sometimes wanna die maybe not die" and has worked in decarceral suicide prevention for 20+ years.
